ArtInsolite The project
ArtInsolite
The project
ArtInsolite is a contemporary art exhibition that comes to life every summer in Lajatico.
The town, directed by Alberto Bartalini, comes alive with unusual presences, transforming itself into an open-air contemporary art museum: Well-known artists invade unusual places where people live, work and meet, with the intention of creating a journey through the most significant spaces of the small Tuscan village such as the historic and institutional buildings, squares, streets, cellars and alleys.
The country is thus enriched with new opportunities and identifying places, witnesses of ancient stories and as intellectual lounges en plein air they recall new lively opportunities for ideas, thoughts and suggestions.
ArtInsolite represents an event of absolute importance with a highly innovative scope due to the ability to discover precious talents and the intelligence to know how to be rooted in the territory as an act of considerable cultural dimension.
